Dr Aghababaei is the principal of The Church Road Dental Practice and has gained a wealth of clinical experience over the past 40 years. After qualifying as a Dental Surgeon Dr Aghababaei went on to complete his post-graduate training at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute (University College London) where he gained an MSc in Prosthodontics.
In 1994 he was appointed as an Honorary Senior House Officer in the Prosthodontic department at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London. Then in 1998 he spent a year at The Royal London Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry and was awarded the Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Surgery, The Royal College of Surgeons England.
Dr Aghababaei then went on to work in general practice in the North London area until becoming the owner and principal of The Church Road Dental Practice in 2004.
He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in Implantology. He has completed post-graduate training learning the fundamentals of bone grafting, expansion techniques, the surgical placement of dental implants and the restoration of dental implants, from Professor Hilt Tatum, a pioneer in dental Implantology. He has also received training in providing non-surgical cosmetic treatments to improve facial aesthetics to help his patients achieve a more youthful appearance.
Dr Aghababaei strives for clinical excellence and regularly attends courses and conferences both in the UK and internationally, as part of his commitment to continuing clinical education and to ensure his patients receive optimum dental care.

Dr Sahar Aghababaie qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Kings College London School of Medicine and Dentistry, gaining a distinction in her final year exams. After graduation, she won the prestigious ‘John McLean’ award for the management and presentation of a multi-disciplinary case from the British Dental Association.
Dr S. Aghababaie continued her post-graduate education and gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons England and the Faculty of General Dental practitioners. She has a keen passion for teaching and completed her post-graduate training in Dental Education, gaining a commendation. She has continued with further clinical training by holding a Senior House Officer post in Paediatric Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital and UCL Hospital in London, gaining experience in providing a range of restorative and surgical procedures for dentally anxious or medically compromised paediatric patients under sedation and general anaesthesia.
She went on to pursue her passion and specialist training in Orthodontics, at The Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH), gaining experience in treating a wide range of complex malocclusions, gaining her membership at The Royal College of surgeons and master’s in clinical dentistry from UCL. She is an accredited specialist and is on the specialist register for Orthodontics at the General Dental Council. She is a member of the British and European Orthodontics Societies. She has also completed her consultant training at The Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH) and Croydon University Hospital London, gaining further experience in managing and treating complex cases. She obtained the intercollegiate Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2024.
Dr S. Aghababaie is also passionate about playing an active role within the dental profession. She previously sat as committee member of the London Dental Committee and currently sits on two committees within The British Dental Association, actively promoting excellence, ethical practice, and education within the dental profession.
